Armed Carjacking Suspects Sought By DC Police

Metropolitan Police Department detectives released surveillance photos of two suspects in a Monday afternoon carjacking in Southwest.

WASHINGTON, DC — Metropolitan Police Department detectives from the Seventh District are asking the public's help in identifying two suspects in connection with an armed carjacking that took place Monday afternoon in Southwest, according to a police release.

Around 2:30 p.m., two suspects approached the victim's vehicle, which was in the unit block of Forrester Street, S.W. One of the suspects pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded the victim's vehicle. After the victim complied, the suspects fled the scene in the vehicle.

MPD released photos of the two suspects that were captured by a nearby surveillance camera.
