Armed Robbery In Columbia Heights Caught On Video
DC police are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect in a Monday morning robbery of a business in Columbia Heights.

WASHINGTON, DC -- Metropolitan Police Department detectives from the Third District are asking the public's help in identifying the suspect in an armed robbery that took place Monday in Columbia Heights, according to a police release.
On Jan. 20, around 8:33 a.m., the suspect entered a business in the 2800 block of 11th Street, N.W., pointed a handgun and demanded cash from the register. After the employee complied, the suspect fled the scene.

Police are investigating the incident as an Armed Robbery of an Establishment (Gun) offense. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call 202-727-9099 or text a tip to 50411.
