Assault And Robbery Along H Street Corridor: Suspect Sought

Metropolitan Police Department detectives are seeking information on a suspect in connection with a February assault and robbery.

WASHINGTON, DC — Metropolitan Police Department detectives from the First District are asking the public's help in identifying a suspecting in connection with a violent robbery that took place in February in the H Street corridor, according to a police release.

On Sunday, Feb. 16, around 5:35 p.m., the victim was assaulted and robbed by a suspect in the 1400 block of Maryland Avenue, N.E. After the suspect took the victim's property, he fled the scene.

MPD released a photo of suspect captured on a nearby surveillance camera.
