Assault, Robbery In Penn Quarter: Police Seek Multiple Suspects

DC police are asking the public's help in identifying multiple suspects who assaulted and then robbed a victim in Penn Quarter Thursday.

WASHINGTON, DC -- Metropolitan Police Department detectives are looking for multiple suspects who assaulted and robbed an individual in Penn Quarter Thursday morning, according to a police report.

MPD officers from the First District responded Thursday, Feb. 6, around 6:15 a.m., to the 400 block of F Street, N.W., for the report of a robbery. Officers found an injured person, who was transported to an area hospital for treatment on non-life threatening injuries. Following an investigation, detectives determined the victim was assaulted by multiple suspects and their property was stolen. A nearby surveillance camera captured images of the suspects.
