A group of around 100 riders was seen wreaking havoc through the D.C. area over the weekend.

A large group of ATV and dirt bike riders were once again causing problems throughout the D.C. metro area, rampaging through both Arlington, Va., and in National Harbor on the Maryland side, as well as in downtown D.C.
WTOP reports that a group of riders on dirt bikes and ATVs were spotted throughout National Harbor causing chaos. The wild group was also spotted in parts of downtown D.C. and then in Arlington, which has become a concerning new trend.
PG County police reported saw around 100 riders driving the vehicles, which are not street legal, all around the National Harbor area. As in all other cases where the riders were spotted, they were seen driving in a reckless manner with disregard for pedestrians.

Large groups of people on dirt bikes and ATVs have long been a problem in D.C., as they are difficult to arrest due to their large numbers and ability to go off-road. But they have become increasingly bold in recent months, spreading out into Arlington and now National Harbor.
