Back-To-School Backpack Drive Aug. 14 at K Street Bank of America

Encouraging All Volunteers To Participate In a Backpack-Stuffing Event To Benefit Title I Schools in Washington, D.C.

The Bank of America financial center located at 1800 K Street NW in Washington, D.C. will host a Backpack Drive on Wednesday, August 16, from 6:30 p.m. until approximately 9:00. The event is free and all are welcome to participate.

Backpacks will be donated to Title I schools in D.C. through The National Center for Children and Families’ Neediest Kids program. Donations of bookbags are welcome, as is the assistance in packing them with the provided supplies.

The Backpack Drive at the K Street Bank of America is being run in partnership with the D.C. chapter of the National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP). Snacks, wine and refreshments will be provided.
