The former president and vice president stopped by the Dog Tag Bakery in Georgetown.

WASHINGTON, DC -- Barack Obama may no longer be president, but he's still making waves when he goes out and about in D.C. This time, he was spotted at Dog Tag Bakery in Georgetown with his vice president, Joe Biden.

A crowd of onlookers stood to gawk as the famous pair ordered salads and sandwiches, according to DCist. You can watch video of them embedded below, which was posted on Facebook by the bakery.

"I think I gotta have one of those," Obama says in the video while pointing out a sandwich that Biden ordered, prompting the VP to respond, "give the boss one of those, too."

The bakery has made a name for itself since it opened in 2015 not just for its baked treats, but also because of its mission: the bakery operates as a nonprofit that is designed to help military veterans who are trying to re-enter the workforce. Veterans work at the bakery for six months and take business classes at Georgetown University, where they learn how to run their own businesses.

The bakery is located at 3206 Grace Street NW.
