Bethesda Man Charged In Knife Attack Near Howard University
DC Police arrested a Bethesda man Monday in connection with an assault with a dangerous weapon (knife) incident near Howard University.
WASHINGTON, DC -- Metropolitan Police Department detectives from the Third District arrested a Bethesda man in connection with a knife attack that occurred Monday near Howard University, according to a police release.
A citizen flagged down officers on Monday, Feb. 10, around 11:36, in the 2300 block of Georgia Avenue, N.W. The citizen told police the suspect brandished a knife at him. The responding officers located the suspect and arrested him.
Police charged Anar Sahibali Alizada, of Bethesda, Maryland, with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
