Black Friday 2018 Mall Hours In The DC Area

Here's what to expect when it comes to Black Friday mall hours in the D.C. area this year.

WASHINGTON, DC -- It's Thanksgiving, which means two things -- lots of turkey, and shopping craziness. So if you're looking to get to the mall, here's a quick breakdown of what you can expect whether you head out on Black Friday.

There are plenty of mall options around the D.C. area, if you're willing to venture outside the District. Here are the Black Friday hours of top area malls:

DC

Mazza Gallerie in Friendship Heights: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

VIRGINIA

Fashion Centre at Pentagon City: 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Fair Oaks Mall in Fairfax: 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Tysons Galleria: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Dulles Town Center: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

MARYLAND

Tanger Outlets at National Harbor: 6 p.m. Thursday to 10 p.m. Friday (open overnight)

Bowie Town Center: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The Mall at Prince George's in Hyattsville: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Beltway Plaza in Greenbelt: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Nationally, there's a mix of retailers opening and closing on Thanksgiving. Retailers such as A.C. Moore, Barnes & Noble, Marshalls and Nordstrom will be closed, as well as grocery stores like BJ's Wholesale Club, Costco, Sam's Club and Trader Joe's. Other stores like JC Penney, Target, GameStop, Macy's and Old Navy will open in the afternoon on Thanksgiving.
