Bottoms Up: Another Mueller Indictment Means $5 Drinks At DC Bar
A D.C. bar offered the "Moscow Mueller" to patrons for $5 after Flynn's indictment.

WASHINGTON, DC -- Once again, customers of a D.C. bar were able to get discounted cocktails as part of a long-running promotion involving special counsel Robert Mueller's ongoing investigation into the Trump Administration's Russian contacts.
With the indictment of former national security adviser Michael Flynn, customers were able to order a $5 "Moscow Mueller" at The Bird in the Shaw neighborhood.
The drink is essentially a Moscow Mule, which is made from vodka, ginger beer, and lime juice. It is typically served in a copper mug.

Flynn entered a guilty plea for lying to the FBI regarding his contacts with former Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, and he announced he will work with Mueller's team as part of the deal, meaning more discounted drinks are probably coming at The Bird.

The Bird first unveiled the promotion last month following the indictment of former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and business associate Richard Gates.

The Bird had previously offered discounted drinks when Trump fired someone, but has now switched to indictments as the firings slowed.
Other D.C. bars have offered similar promotions. Some opened up early so that people could watch former FBI Director James Comey testify before the Senate in June.
