"Black organizers from BYP100 and BLM DC have shut down the legislative office of the National Fraternal Order of Police to demand that police officers invested in accountability and justice stop paying dues to the FOP," reads a statement circulating online from an unknown source. "The outfit has continued to protect cops that kill and maim civilians, ensuring their continued pay and job status and shielding them from accountability."

The statement pledges that activists will continue to take to the streets over the next two days for #FreedomNow actions.
