Pictures are flooding social media of a massive police presence at the Columbia Heights Metro station shortly after 4 p.m. over what is believed to be a huge fight between high schoolers and even an assault on an officer.
"DC police in large numbers outside Columbia Heights Metro station," Washington Post reporter Peter Hermann tweeted at 4:03 p.m. "Police say they're dealing with a large crowd and assault on an officer."
