Watercolor Painting for Beginners

How about this Fall season, you embark on a creative experience by learning how to paint using the fresh and fun Watercolor medium with acclaimed artist, Vian Borchert, at The Yellow Barn Studio at Glen Echo Park.

The course will be onsite and in-person in the Studio starting next week on Monday morning from September 28 till November 16. The class is from 9:30AM till 12PM at Glen Echo Park's Yellow Barn Studio located within the park.

The course is designed for beginning and intermediate students to explore traditional watercolor and experimental watercolor techniques. Color theory and composition are emphasized through images based on still life and landscapes.

Borchert is an acclaimed artist who has been teaching art classes in the DMV area for over 2 decades. She is a notable alumni from Corcoran College of Art & Design George Washington University.
