What makes you the best candidate for this office?
New ideas and conviction are needed in Ward 8 and DC, i have the newest ideas and some conviction.
How will you help the city recover from the economic impact of the coronavirus?
I would have prevented the self-inflicted disaster by not closing small businesses and let them handle their own risks.
Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, Mayor Muriel Bowser has talked about the longstanding inequities that have been exposed by the coronavirus. She also has talked about this being an opportunity for the city to address those inequities. What are your thoughts on this?
She increased the inequities by stifling economic opportunity all over the city. Those with office or government jobs available to telework continued to create income, while those without those types of jobs were furloughed.
What do you see as the biggest issue besides the coronavirus recovery facing D.C.?
Too much emphasis on achieving unconstitutional statehood and not enough attention on lessening regulation on businesses and housing developers.
What is your position on statehood for D.C.?
US Constitution, Article 1, Section 8
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
Student of the Month, Sioux Falls Lincoln High School, April 2006.
The best advice ever shared with me was:
Don't mix light and dark liquor.
