Celebrate The Holidays With Your Dog At DC's Deck The Paws

WASHINGTON, DC — The holidays are about celebrating with your loved ones. And that includes your furry, four-legged friend.

On Saturday, Dec. 1, you and your dog can check out Deck the Paws, a holiday-themed pop-up dog park in Butterfly Park. Located at 49th and East Capitol Street NE, the District-sponsored event is free and will be open from 12 to 3 p.m.

At Deck the Paws, your dog can enjoy holiday treats, meet Santa Paws, pose for pictures, and get a festive paw-dicure. You can also learn about D.C. pet services from organizations such as Metro Mutts, Humane Rescue Alliance, and Mars Petcare.
