Child Pornography Charges Filed Against Southeast Man: DC Police

Metropolitan Police Department detectives arrested a Southeast man in connection with child pornography offenses.

WASHINGTON, DC — Metropolitan Police Department detectives arrested a Southeast man Thursday for distributing child pornography, according to a police release.

An investigation by MPD's Youth and Family Services Division, Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, and Homeland Security Investigations revealed that Michael Roberson, 29, of Southeast, had distributed, received, and possessed images of child pornography.

Acting on a U.S. District Court arrest warrant Thursday, police charged Roberson with distribution of child pornography.
