Child Sex Abuse Suspect Sought By DC Police
D.C. Police are seeking the suspect in connection with a Wednesday morning child sex abuse incident in Mayfair.
WASHINGTON, DC — Metropolitan Police Department detectives from the Youth and Family Services Division, Physical and Sexual Abuse Branch are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect in connection with a child sex abuse incident that occurred Wednesday morning in Mayfair, according to a police release.
Around 6:30 a.m., the suspect approached a girl in the 3600 Block of Hayes St., N.E., and touched her inappropriately before fleeing the scene.
Police describe the suspect as a young black male with a heavy build and dark complexion. He was seen wearing ripped jean shorts, a black T-shirt, and black or green Nike Air Jordan shoes.
