Child Sex Trafficking Charge Filed Against Southeast Man

D.C. Police arrested a Southeast man Tuesday in connection with a child sex trafficking incident.

WASHINGTON, DC — Metropolitan Police Department detectives from the Youth and Family Services Division – Internet Crimes Against Children Branch charged a Southeast man Tuesday in connection with a sex trafficking of children offense, according to a police release.

Around 3:15 p.m., the suspect, whom police identify as Aaron Kimball Smith, 24, of Southeast, traveled to the District after arranging a sexual act with a child in exchange for money. MPD officers arrested Smith upon arrival and charged him with sex trafficking of children.
