Child Sexual Abuse Charge Filed Against Northeast Man: Police

D.C. police say a Northeast man sexually abused a child over a period of five years.

WASHINGTON, DC — Metropolitan Police Department detectives from the Youth and Family Services Division, Physical and Sexual Abuse Branch arrested a District man for sexually abusing a child, according to a police release.

Police say that Mark Walker, 39, of Northeast engaged in sexual acts with a minor victim between 2014 to 2019.

Acting on a D.C. Superior arrest warrant Thursday, officers arrested Walker and charged him with first-degree child sexual abuse.
