The Continuation of "The New Wave"

"To see the world through my eyes. To see the horizon line, to see the wind breeze, the time of day, the waves splashing at the edge of the water, to feel the heaviness of the night, and the lightness of the day, to play with brush strokes, to see dolphins swimming and birds flying, to go on a painter's journey through my eyes is achieved by viewing my work."

These are the poetic and descriptive words by acclaimed international artist Vian Borchert illustrating her latest “New Wave” solo art exhibition that is currently on exhibit in the DMV area at the Framer’s Choice Gallery in Kentlands, Gaithersburg for the Fall season.

"The New Wave” is a solo art exhibition by established international artist Vian Shamounki Borchert. In “The New Wave”, Borchert presents to the public her latest abstracts which are executed in the artist’s signature painterly touch. Cohesive minimal and modern paintings varying in sizes, and medium on all is acrylic on canvas. The exhibition hopes to transport the viewer to the feelings of re-energy and relaxation upon viewing the blue toned abstracted seascape paintings by which the artist was inspired from her travels to the ocean and taking in the majestic seascape views and the sea breeze.

The exhibition currently on display will run till the end of October. If you are a nature lover and an avid art lover, be sure not to miss this thoroughly modern exhibition.
