Controversial Pro-Trump Firebrand To Host DC TV Show: Report

WASHINGTON, DC -- A former ESPN personality turned Trump-supporting conservative firebrand will be returning to D.C. to host a new TV show.

Britt McHenry will team up with fellow former ESPN personality Bram Weinstein and WPGC news director Guy Lambert for a weekly news roundup show on Fox 5 titled "Like It or Not," according to a Washington Post report.

The show will debut on Friday at 10:30 p.m., and will run for six weeks, after which it may be extended.

McHenry, who used to be a sports reporter at WJLA before moving on to ESPN and subsequently being laid off last year, has become a polarizing figure in conservative circles for her outspoken support of President Trump and hard-right views.

McHenry also writes for the Federalist and appears on Fox News. She drew controversy recently for claiming that teen survivors of the Florida school shooting are being used "as props" by the Democratic Party.
