RESTON, VA — A mainstay restaurant in Reston Town Center will be closing its doors for good on May 21, according to a release from Clyde’s Restaurant Group.

Clyde's of Reston opened its doors in 1991 in a location adjacent to the center's ice rink and nearby fountain.

“From its earliest days, Clyde’s of Reston has been a part of the extraordinary Reston neighborhood as a comfortable and timeless gathering place,” CRG President John McDonnell said in the release. “Clyde’s has had a tremendous 31-year run in the Town Center and we are so grateful for the steadfast support of the community."

Jake Stroman, executive vice president of Boston Properties, said Clyde's was an important and valued part of the center.

“While the CRG team has elected to close the Clyde’s location in Reston to focus on other locations, we are grateful for the memories and look forward to the many exciting opportunities to come for both Clyde’s and Reston Town Center," he said, in a release.
