WASHINGTON, DC — A day after the D.C. government temporary closed its coronavirus testing sites due to Tropical Storm Isaias, the District's testing sites reopen Wednesday at 10 a.m. This is two hours later than usual. Regular hours will resume Thursday.

District residents are encouraged to be tested if they have symptoms or have been exposed to COVID-19, the illness associated with the new coronavirus. In addition, residents are asked to remain quarantined until they receive the results of their tests.

No appointment is needed to visit one of the District's testing sites, although people are encouraged to pre-register at coronavirus.dc.gov/register to save time in line.
