DC Election Results 2016: Former Mayor Vincent Gray Wins Ward 7

Former Mayor Vincent Gray looks poised to win the Ward 7 seat against incumbent Yvette Alexander by a significant margin in Tuesday night's Democratic primary.
Gray, who was defeated by current Mayor Muriel Bowser in 2014, is hoping to return to represent Ward 7 and currently leads Alexander with 60 percent of the vote to Alexander's 33 percent with 129 of 143 precincts reporting as of around 9 p.m.
LaRuby May of Ward 8 also lost her seat, as Trayon White emerged victorious with 4,120 votes to May's 3,438.

A third incumbent, At-Large Member of the Council Vincent Orange, was defeated as well, falling 38,032 to 35,779 to challenger Robert White. David Garber was in third with 13,972 votes.
Brandon Todd survived a challenge from Leon Andrews in Ward 4, holding a lead of 7,859 votes to 6,581.

Jack Evans ran unopposed in Ward 2, as did U.S. House of Representatives Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton.
