DC Gamer Hit By Gunfire In Jacksonville Shooting: Reports
The gamer tweeted that he was hit in the thumb and "so lucky" to be alive.

A D.C.-based gamer was hit in the thumb by a bullet after a shooter opened fire at a Madden tournament in Jacksonville, Fla. on Sunday.
Authorities believe David Katz, who may have been angry at being eliminated from the tournament, shot to death Eli Clayton and Taylor Robertson -- and injured several others -- before turning the gun on himself.
Drini Gjoka, 18, lists D.C. as his hometown on the EA Sports website. He first tweeted at 1:37 p.m. on Sunday: "The tourney just got shot up. Im leavinng and never coming back."

Shortly after, he added: "I am literally so lucky. The bullet hit my thumb" and "Worst day of my life."
"I will never take anything for granted every again," he continued. "Life can be cut short in a second. ... If I havent said it before, I'll say it now. I LOVE ALL YOU GUYS."
