DC High School To Hold Prayer Vigil For Parkland Victims
Wilson High School will hold the vigil Tuesday afternoon.

WASHINGTON, DC -- A D.C. high school will be holding a prayer vigil Tuesday afternoon in honor of students at the high school in Parkland, Fla. where 17 students lost their lives Feb. 14.
Wilson High School at 3950 Chesapeake Street NW will hold a "pray-in" from 2:30 until 4 p.m. on Tuesday, the day before Parkland students return to their classrooms after the tragedy, according to a statement.
Representatives from the "Pray at the Pump Movement (PAPM)" are behind the event.

"PAPM will form prayer groups with students as they go to their buses or walk home from school," the statement reads. "Some of our signs will read: Prayer is the Missing Link of Your Student Protest. Join Me in Prayer Now or Prayer + Faith in a Higher Being + ACTIVISM =Peace in School. Students and will also be asked to sign a large homemade card pledging to pray without ceasing for all US schools."
