DC Missing Persons: 10 People Missing In 2 Days

Ten people have been reported missing in DC in a span of two days, police said.

WASHINGTON, DC — Below is a list of missing people reported in DC since Monday, April 17.

DC has logged over 500 cases of missing juveniles so far in 2017, although many of them were later found unharmed. DC police reportedly said there hasn't been an increase in missing persons, they have simply been posted on social media more often, according to the AP.

In fact, the AP notes that missing child cases in the District dropped from 2,433 in 2015 to 2,242 last year. The highest total recently, 2,610, was reported in 2001.

Police ask that anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of any of these missing people to call the Metropolitan Police Department at 202-727-9099.

Mykia Mason, 13, was last seen in the 4900 block of Alabama Avenue, Southeast, on Monday, April 17, police said. Mason is described as a black female, with a medium brown complexion, 5’1” in height, 110 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair in long braids. She was last seen wearing a white shirt, white pants, and blue and white Jordan tennis shoes.

16-year-old Shontea Martin was last seen in the 2300 block of Good Hope Court, Southeast, on Friday, April 14. She was reported missing on Sunday, April 16, 2017, police said. Martin is described as a black female, with a medium brown complexion, 5’4” in height, 126 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair in a pony tail. She was last seen wearing a white polo shirt, tan pants and grey Nike tennis shoes.

David Dix, 55, was last seen Monday, April 17 in the 1400 block of N St., NW, police said. Dix is described as a white male with a light complexion, 5’9” in height, 220 pounds, with blue eyes, black and grey hair and a grey bear. He was last seen wearing khaki shorts, a dark blue polo shirt and black flip flops, police said.

Jakeem Tariq Pope, 16, was last seen in the 5900 block of Georgia Ave., NW, on Monday, April 17. Pope also goes by his middle name Tariq, police said. Police describe Pope as a black male with a medium complexion, standing at five-foot and weighing about 90 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair and was last seen wearing a black polo shirt, blue jacket, khaki pants and brown shoes.

Police are searching for Rayna Gross, 16, who was last seen in the 300 block of G Street, Southwest, on Monday, April 17. Gross is described as a black female, with a medium brown complexion, 5’7” in height, 130 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, blue acid washed jeans with holes in the front, black and red Jordan tennis shoes, and a black and grey scarf on her head.

Tucker Clarke, 32, was last seen in the 1900 block of Massachusetts Ave., SE on Friday, Aril 14, police said. Clarke was reported missing on Tuesday, April 18. Clarke is described as a white male with a light complexion, 6-foot in height, 160 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair. Clarke was last seen wearing tan pants, a white t-shirt and high-top converse tennis shoes.

Darius Anderson, 15, was last seen on Sunday, April 16 in the 3900 block of Minnesota Avenue, NW. Anderson is described as a black male with a light complexion, 5'9" in height, 170 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, black and white tennis shoes, a black coat and was carrying a black book bag, police said.

Yahshaiyah Enoch, 13, was last seen in the 1700 block of Michigan Ave. NW., Sunday, April 16, police said. She is described as a black female with a light complexion, 5'3" in height, 120 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. Enoch was last seen wearing a black and green dress with white horizontal stripes, black shoes and a white headband, police said.

John Parker, 15, was last seen in the 100 block of Irvington St., SW. Sunday, April 16. Parker is described as a black male with a medium-complexion, 5'10" in height, 140 pounds, with brown eyes and lack hair in a short cornrow style. Police said he was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and grey sweatpants.

Angelique Gaither, 24, was last seen in the 2700 block of Terrace Rd., SE on Sunday, April 16, police said. Police describe Gaither as a black female with a dark brown-complexion, 4'2" in height, 95 pounds, with brown eyes and short black dread-lock hair. She was last seen wearing a white and red checkered long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans and white converse shoes.
