DC Police Arrest Suspect In Fatal Shooting Of Maryland Man
D.C. Police arrested a suspect in the April 18 fatal shooting of Toussaunt Strong, 28, of Clinton, Maryland.
WASHINGTON, DC —Homicide detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department arrested a suspect Monday in connection with the April 18 fatal shooting of Toussaunt Strong, 28, of Clinton, Maryland, according to a police release.
On Saturday, April 18, around 6:53 p.m., officers from the Seventh District responded to the 3400 block of 24th Street, S.E., for the report of a shooting. They found Strong, unconscious and suffering from gunshot wounds. D.C. Fire and EMS transported him to a nearby hospital, but all life-saving efforts failed and Strong was pronounced dead.
Acting on a D.C. Superior Court arrest warrant, members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Ravel Mills, 25, of Temple Hills, Maryland, and charged him with first degree murder while armed.
