DC Police Arrest Suspect In Fort Dupont Stabbing
Metropolitan Police Department officers arrested a Southeast man in connection with a stabbing that took place in Fort Dupont last Friday.
WASHINGTON, DC – Metropolitan Police Department detectives from the Sixth District arrested a suspect in connection with a stabbing that took place last Friday in Fort Dupont, according to a police release.
On Friday, March 13, around 1:30 p.m., the suspect approached the victim in the 3600 Block of Minnesota Avenue, S.E. After brandishing a knife, the suspect stabbed the victim and fled the scene.
Officers arrested Vincent Wilson, 27, of Southeast, on Monday, March 16, and charged him with assault with a dangerous weapon (knife).
