DC Police Charge MD Man In February Homicide Case
D.C. Police detectives charged a Temple Hills man Tuesday in connection with the fatal shooting of Cordaro Pierre Chambers of Northwest.

WASHINGTON, DC — Homicide detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department arrested a Maryland man in connection with the fatal shooting of Cordaro Pierre Chambers, 31, of Northeast, in February, according to a police release.
On Monday, Feb 17, around 5:27 p.m., officers from the Fifth District responded to the report of an unconscious male at a residence in the 2100 block of I Street, N.E. Arriving at the residence, the officers found Chambers suffering from a gunshot wound. D.C. Fire and EMS examined the victim and found no signs of life.
Members of the Capital Area Fugitive Task Force arrested Stephon Green, 31, of Temple Hills, Maryland, Tuesday, and charged him first degree murder while armed. Police say Green has been arrested twice in the past for carrying a pistol without a license.
