DC Police Cruiser Crashes In Northeast: Report
Two people -- an officer and a civilian -- reportedly received minor injuries from the crash.

WASHINGTON, DC -- An officer and a civilian are recovering from minor injuries after a Metropolitan Police Department cruiser and another car collided early Wednesday morning in Northeast D.C., according to a report.
WUSA9 reports that the crash happened at the intersection of New York Avenue and Bladensburg Road, and the two cars crashed head-on. The officer was not in pursuit, police said.
There is not yet any indication of who was at fault in the collision.
