DC Police Find Northeast Man Stabbed To Death In Anacostia On Sunday
Shaheed Johnston, 43, of Northeast died from apparent puncture wounds early Sunday morning in Anacostia.

WASHINGTON, DC — Shaheed Johnston, 43, of Northeast was found suffering from fatal puncture wounds early Sunday morning in Anacostia, according to a police release.
Officers from the Seventh District of the Metropolitan Police Department were called to the in the 2100 block of 13th Street, Southeast around 1:28 a.m. for the report of a man down. When they arrived, they found Johnston suffering from apparent puncture wounds.
Emergency medical personnel evaluated Johnston's injuries and determined that he had died. His body was later taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call MPD at 202-727-9099. Anonymous tips may be submitted via the department's text tip line by texting a message to 50411.
MPD is currently offering a reward of up to $25,000 for anyone who supplies information that leads to the arrest and conviction of any person responsible for a homicide in the District.
