DC Police Release Videos In 3 Armed Robbery Cases
Metropolitan Police Department is asking the public's help in identifying suspects wanted in three recent armed robberies in the District.
WASHINGTON, DC — Metropolitan Police Department detectives are asking the public's help in locating suspects in three recent armed robberies in the the District, one of which left a victim injured with a gunshot wound, according to police reports. MPD released surveillance videos in all three cases.
In the first case, officers from the Fourth District responded around 7:20 p.m., on Saturday to the 3500 Block of 14th Street, Northwest for the sound of gunshots. They found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

In the second case, two suspects approached the victim around 6:57 a.m., on Sunday, in the 1700 Block of 9th Street, Northwest. They demanded the suspect hand over the keys to his vehicle. After one of the suspects pointed a handgun at him, the victim complied. The suspects then drove away in the victim's vehicle, which police have since recovered.

In the third case, the victim was approached by the suspects around 9:20 p.m., on Monday, in the 300 block of Burns Street, Southeast. They demanded the victim's property and the victim complied. Then one of the suspects fired a handgun at the victim. No injuries were reported.

Police ask anyone who can identify any of the individuals involved in these three cases or has knowledge of the incidents to call 202-727-9099 or text a tip to 50411. MPD is currently offering a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who can provide information that leads to an arrest and conviction any person responsible for a violent crime committed in the District.
