DC Police Seek Sandwich Thief [VIDEO]
Police say the man broke into an establishment and stole sandwiches and a cell phone before fleeing.

WASHINGTON, DC — Police are on the lookout for a man who apparently broke into a Peet's coffee shop on 14th Street in Northwest and made off with sandwiches and a cell phone.
Police released video of the alleged crime, which happened on July 11 and shows a man wearing earbuds walking into an establishment in the 1800 block of 14th Street NW -- the establishment was not identified but appears to be a Peet's coffee shop -- and then walking into a back office, pilfering sandwiches and a cell phone, according to the police report.
The police report says the incident happened at approximately 10:49 a.m., but the shop is clearly closed in the video and it appears to be at night. The time stamp on the video also says that it is about 1:18 a.m.
