New Photos: DC Police Seek Suspect In Marshall Heights Shooting

Metropolitan Police Department detectives are seeking the public's help in identifying a man connected to a shooting incident in Southeast.

UPDATE (Jan. 31, 2019, 2:15 p.m.): The Metropolitan Police Department released new photos of the suspect in a shooting incident that took place Thursday, Jan. 30, in the Marshall Heights neighborhood.

WASHINGTON, DC -- Metropolitan Police Department detectives from the Sixth District are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect in a shooting incident that took place Thursday afternoon in the Marshall Heights neighborhood, according to a police release.

On Jan. 30, around 3:34 p.m., officers responded to the 5300 block of E Street, S.E., for the report of a shooting. Arriving on the scene, they found an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. D.C. Fire and EMS transported the man to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect's image was captured on a nearby surveillance camera.
