WASHINGTON, DC — D.C. resident Luke Stone has been cast to appear in the upcoming season of ABC's hit show "The Bachelorette." The network released a list of the season 15 hopefuls on Facebook earlier this month.

In case you're a newcomer to the reality drama, "The Bachelorette" is a spin-off of "The Bachelor," and follows a leading lady on her quest for love. Over the course of the season, the bachelorette dates multiple men until she finds a potential husband.

On this season of "The Bachelorette," Stone will try to outlast 32 other contestants and win Hannah Brown's heart. Brown — a 24-year-old interior decorator from Alabama — was a contestant on the 23rd season of "The Bachelor."

Stone, 29, is a part-time waiter at Stoney's on P Street, according to multiple outlets.

"He wanted it to be Hannah,"Reese Edmonds, Stoney's bar manager, told DCist. "When he told me, I was a little intrigued. He said he thought he knew who the girl was: 'I do want it to be this chick from the South, her name is Hannah. She's really cute and goofy.' He really wanted it to be her."

Brad Sherman (D-Calif.) as a staff assistant and for StateScape as a regulatory and legislative analyst. Stone is currently a fundraising consultant at Fraioli & Associates.
