DC School Meeting Erupts Into Chaos, Police Called: Report
A meeting on a girl's apparent suicide at a D.C. boarding school reportedly turned heated Thursday night.

WASHINGTON, DC -- Stormiyah Jackson, a 12-year-old student of SEED School in Southeast D.C., was found dead in her dorm room from an apparent suicide on Tuesday morning. The school meeting that took place two days later reportedly got so heated that police had to show up to keep the peace.
Fox 5 reported that the meeting on Thursday was the first time that parents heard from the school since Stormiyah's death, and parents were angry at the school for what they felt was out-of-control bullying that school officials hadn't done enough to stop.
Hundreds of parents were in attendance to find out the school's story about what happened. Parents "yelled at one another and at the school," according to Fox 5.

Parents allege widespread bullying and abuse at the school, with the mother of one student claiming her son had been sexually abused there, according to an NBC News report. The mother of Stormiyah believed that her daughter had been bullied.

"She did tell me that a lot of kids would be bullying her, picking on her. And when she tried to tell the staff, they wouldn't do nothing about it," Pat Denson said according to the report. "But when she reacted, they put her as the bully."
