DC's 2nd Chick-fil-A is Coming to Tenleytown Next Week
Patrons can show up the day before for a special "surprise and delight" event.

Another Chick-fil-A is coming D.C. this month, and it will be conveniently located for Metro riders on the Red Line. This will be the second Chick-fil-A to open in the District, and it will be located near the Tenleytown-AU Metro stop.
Unfortunately, there will be no "First 100" party for this location when it opens Aug. 11, which is when people camp outside the store before it makes its Grand Opening for the chance to win the grand prize of one Chick-fil-A meal per week for a year. However, the restaurant -- which will be located at 4505 Wisconsin Avenue NW -- will have a "surprise and delight" event the day before it opens. Anyone 13 years of age or older can come by between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m., and you can find out more here.
The doors will open at 6:30 a.m. Aug. 11.

The new restaurant will bring 65 new jobs to the Tenleytown neighborhood. Franchise owner Kristen Johnson will also be inviting the community to participate in a children's book drive, so bring your lightly used books with you.
