This Is DC's Best Restaurant, According To OpenTable

This restaurant in downtown D.C. has a stellar rating out of more than 3,000 reviews.

WASHINGTON, DC -- There are a lot of restaurant rankings out there, but what does popular reservation site OpenTable.com say is the best restaurant in D.C.?

Based on customer ratings, it's "The Source by Wolfgang Puck," which is located at The Newseum at 575 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in downtown.

The Source, which serves Asian cuisine, has earned an incredible 4.6 rating out of 3,240 reviews. It is the creation of celebrity restaurateur Wolfgang Puck, an Austrian-born American chef who owns dozens of high-end restaurants worldwide (although mostly in the United States and particularly in Las Vegas).

"The Source by Wolfgang Puck is the museum’s signature dining experience and features innovative Asian cuisine, paired with unmatched hospitality and service," according to the restaurant's website. "The sleek and contemporary restaurant is spread out over three distinct levels. Dining experiences include a casual and convivial bar & lounge area, an elegant main dining room and a subterranean private dining room. The modern design boasts floor-to-ceiling windows that line the restaurant and a two-story glass wine wall that holds more than 2,000 bottles of the restaurant’s impressive collection."

As with any Wolfgang Puck restaurant, it's pricey, with entrees ranging from $31 to $50, according to OpenTable.
