Del Frisco's Grille is closing its downtown DC location.

WASHINGTON, DC — National steakhouse chain Del Frisco's Grille will close its downtown D.C. and North Bethesda, Maryland locations on Oct. 20, according to Eater DC. The news comes just weeks after billionaire and Houston Rockets owner Tilman Fertitta announced he will acquire the brand.

"We appreciate the continued patronage of the many guests who have dined with us at these locations and thank our team members for their passionate dedication to Del Frisco's Grille," a spokesperson told the media outlet.

It is unclear why the chain is closing those two locations.
