DMV Comes Out For Polo, Posh, and Purposeful Charity Event

"I dressed up, feel pretty, even with my mask on," smiles Karen Butler. Karen poses for photos in front of the 4th Annual Polo and Charity sign in a floral print dress. "It feels good to be outdoors and raise money for charity." Grandiosity 4th Annual Polo and Jazz event brought out celebrities, locals, and politicians to help raise money for Circle of Hope. "Susan puts together amazing events," says George, a frequent on the social scene in Washington, DC. "Coronavirus stopped everything. I miss the DMV charity scene. No way was I going to miss this grandiosity event," chuckles George.
Susan Smallwood, the brains and beauty behind this popular event, is known for putting on lavish and high-end events. "We live in a new world now where social distancing will be the new norm; we want guests to be able to enjoy a safe environment while having a grand time!" Susan goes on to say, "In 3 weeks, my PR & Branding Team, Auntea Marie of Media International, and I created a grand scheme to make it happen!" Singer, CeCe Peniston, "this is one of the most couture events." Vytas Reid, Chief Meteorologist at WBFF, turned in his weather clicker for the turntable. "I was a DJ in college and just got back into it."

The Real House Wives of Potomac supported the event, Karen Huger, Ashley Noel, Charriisse Jackson Jordan, and International Speaker Bershan Shaw, all happy to lead their names and support. Plus, Former Washington Football player, Ken Harvey, supported the event. Circle of Hope, Therapeutic Riding, use highly-trained therapy horses to provide therapy and rehabilitation for participants.

Executive Director and Head Instructor, Lesley Shear, "when Susan called to say Circle of Hope was the charity, I was excited." Lesley explains donations have dried up since the Coronavirus. Any monies will help keep the operation running. One guest couldn't stop talking about the desserts provided by Elite Creations by Thrisha and the selection of beverages.
