UPDATE: Stolen Dog Reunited With Owner
D.C. Police are asking the public's help in finding the individual who stole a pit-bull from a fenced yard near Gallaudet University.

UPDATE (Feb. 29, 10 a.m.): The Metropolitan Police Department reported that Lady, the pit-bull stolen from a fenced yard, was reunited with her owner. The case is still under investigation.
WASHINGTON, DC — Metropolitan Police Department detectives from the Fifth District are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect who stole a pit-bull from a fenced yard near Gallaudet University last Saturday, according to a police release.
On Saturday, Feb. 22, around 12:50 p.m., the victim let her 3-year-old, tan-and-white pit-bull named Lady out into the fenced yard in the 1100 block of Abbey Place, N.E. An unknown suspect took Lady from the yard and fled the scene, according to police.
