Dozen Donuts For 80 Cents At DC Krispy Kreme Friday
There's a sweet deal at your Krispy Kreme this Friday to celebrate the anniversary of the glazed donut.
WASHINGTON, DC — It's been 80 years since Krispy Kreme introduced its signature glazed donut. Naturally, the donut chain will celebrate with an 80 cent deal.
Krispy Kreme is offering a dozen glazed donuts for 80 cents when you buy any kind by the dozen on Friday, July 14. Residents can stop by the DuPont Circle store at 1350 Connecticut Ave NW. to redeem their tasty, cheap eats.
The first Krispy Kreme opened on July 13, 1937, and it started selling the glazed donut the next day, according to Thrillist.
