Eversheds Sutherland (US) Adds Electric Regulatory Partner Joseph Hall
Eversheds Sutherland (US) continues the expansion of the firm's Energy and Infrastructure Practice with addition of Joseph Hall.
Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP is pleased to announce that Joseph Hall has joined the firm’s Energy and Infrastructure Practice Group as a partner in the Washington DC office. Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland (US), Mr. Hall served as partner and co-chair of Dorsey & Whitney’s Energy Industry Group.
Mr. Hall represents electric utilities, independent power producers, power marketers, industrial customers, private equity firms and other entities in connection with regulatory, enforcement and compliance matters before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, state regulatory commissions, and federal and state courts.
He advises entities developing and investing in energy infrastructure and litigates contract and tariff disputes, open access, generator interconnection, Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act and distributed generation issues at FERC and state regulatory bodies. Mr. Hall routinely counsels clients on issues relating to participation in organized power markets. His extensive enforcement and compliance experience includes advising clients on market FERC enforcement matters, including manipulation and regulatory compliance.
