Extraordinary Video Shows DC Postal Worker Trapped By Floodwaters
It's a stark reminder to never attempt to drive through water.

WASHINGTON, DC -- A remarkable new video released by D.C. Fire and EMS shows a postal worker trapped by floodwaters during the recent torrential downpours in the District.
D.C. Fire and EMS said in a tweet that the postal worker "narrowly escaped with his life, only because someone witnessed this near tragedy and came to his assistance."
In the video, embedded below, the postal worker can be seen attempting to drive through the floodwaters, but is overpowered by the raging rapids, which force the vehicle into a ditch.
