Fatal Shooting Of Homeless Man Investigated By DC Police
D.C. Police are investigating a fatal shooting of a homeless man that took place Saturday on N Street.
WASHINGTON, DC -- Metropolitan Police Department homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting of a homeless man that took place Saturday in Northwest, according to a police release.
Officers from the Third District responded Saturday, Feb. 15, around 5:59 p.m., to the report of a shooting in the 100 block of N Street, N.W. Arriving on the scene, they found an adult mail suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to an area hospital by D.C. Fire and EMS, but life-saving efforts failed and he was pronounced dead. Police identified the decedent as Eugene Issac Jr., 34, of no fixed address.
