Update: Police Seek Vehicle Of Interest In Park View Homicide

Homicide detectives with the Metropolitan Police Department are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Monday in Park View.

UPDATE (March 3, 2:15 p.m.): The Metropolitan Police Department have released surveillance photos of a vehicle of interest in connection with the fatal shooting of a Northwest man in Park View, according to a police release. Police describe the vehicle as a white 4-door Honda Sedan, without a front tag.

WASHINGTON, DC — Metropolitan Police Department detectives from the Homicide Branch are investigating a fatal shooting that took place Monday afternoon in the Park View area, according to a police release.

On Monday, March 2, around 2:59 p.m., officers from the Fourth District responded to a report of gunshots in the 700 block of Quebec Place, N.W. Arriving on the scene, officers found an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported by D.C. Fire and EMS to a nearby hospital, but all life-saving efforts failed and the victim was pronounced dead.

Police identified the decedent as Malik Brown, 24, of Northwest.
