Fatal Shooting In Northwest Video Released: DC Police
D.C. homicide detectives released a surveillance video of a suspect wanted in connection with an Aug. 25 fatal shooting in Northwest.

WASHINGTON, DC — Homicide detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department are asking the public's help in locating a suspect and a vehicle of interest in connection with the Aug. 25 fatal shooting of a Northwest man, according to a police release.
Officers from the Third District were dispatched around 11:29 p.m., to the 1300 block of Clifton Street, N.W., for the report of a shooting. They found an adult man suffering from a gunshot wound. D.C. Fire and EMS examined the victim and found no signs consistent with life. The victim was later transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
MPD identified the decedent as Adam Fongyen, 31, of Northwest.

On Monday, MPD released a video of the suspect and vehicle of interest caught on a nearby surveillance camera.
Police ask anyone with information about the identity of the suspect or location of the vehicle to call 202-727-9099. Anonymous information may be submitted by texting a message to 50411.
