Fatal Shooting In Park View Under Investigation: Police Report
Homicide detectives are investigating the fatal shooting Saturday night of 23-year-old Inmar Edenilson Arias Hernandez of Northwest.
WASHINGTON, DC — Homicide detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department are investigating the fatal shooting of 23-year-old Inmar Edenilson Arias Hernandez of Northwest Saturday night in the Park View area, according to a police report.
Around 9:26 p.m., officers from the Fourth District responded to the 3600 block of 11th Street, Northwest, for the sound of gunshots. Arriving officers learned that Hernandez was seeking treatment at a nearby hospital for a gunshot wound. Despite all lifesaving efforts Hernandez succumbed to his injuries. A preliminary investigation revealed that he was shot inside his vehicle on 11th Street.
MPD is currently offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of any persons responsible for committing a homicide in the District. Police ask anyone with information about this case to call 202-727-9099 or send an anonymous tip by text to 50411.
