FBI Conducting Raids In DC Region, Details Coming: Report
The FBI is reportedly conducting "court-authorized law enforcement activity" in the D.C. region and will release information later.

UPDATE 5:36 p.m.: Various media reports indicate that at least 10 have been arrested as part of the raids. Still no official statement from the FBI, however.
UPDATE 2:20 p.m.: WUSA9 reports that the round-up is happening mid-Wednesday afternoon, and is focused on "local gangs" and "violent criminals" in Northern Virginia, with some operations in the District. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms had been investigating them for some time and had recruited the help of local police to round them up, according to the report. The round-up involves multiple federal, state, and local agencies.

WASHINGTON, DC -- The FBI is in the midst of conducting raids in the D.C. region Wednesday morning, and plans to release information about what is happening later this afternoon, according to a report.
WUSA9 reports that the "FBI confirms there is currently court authorized law enforcement activity in the DC region involving state and federal agencies," adding that no further information is being released at this time and the FBI will release more information later this afternoon.
